As an approach that depends on collaboration between experts from very different backgrounds, the greatest challenge facing multilevel research is developing an initial framework. A topic that can inspire discussions across levels and result in a bank of knowledge that is as deep as it is extensive.
This undertaking was made possible by three experts – doyens of their respective fields – who boldly stepped beyond their disciplines to explore new opportunities.
